A reliable filter housing spare-parts request starts with the exact assembly, not a photograph of a similar-looking component. Tie each requested item to the housing model, identification plate and applicable drawing before asking a supplier to confirm availability or compatibility.

Give the supplier an assembly identity

Begin with the housing manufacturer and model as recorded on the equipment, its serial or other identifying number if present, the original order reference and the drawing revision. Include a clear identification-plate photograph and an overall view. If a plate is missing or unreadable, say so; do not infer a model from a similar catalogue image.

Record known modifications separately. An old drawing may not describe the equipment currently installed. Ask the responsible equipment owner to identify the approved configuration before treating a historical part number as current.

Make each line item independently understandable

An identification photograph helps locate a component; it does not establish material, pressure suitability or dimensional acceptance.
